A browser extension is a program that extends the functionality of a web browser in some way. Depending on the browser, the term may be distinct from similar terms such as plug-in or add-on. Mozilla Firefox was designed with the idea of being a small and simple web browser, delegating more advanced functions to Mozilla extensions. Here’s a list of my favorite browser extension that you may find useful too…

1. BugMeNot
   Bypass compulsory web registration with the context menu via www.bugmenot.com.
   

   Activate the extension by right-clicking on a user name and/or password field of a site that asks for registration. BugMeNot will log in for you automatically using user-submitted passwords. Features: multiple login attempts, failure reporting, and auto-submittal.

2. LastPassword
   LastPass browser extension for Mozilla Firefox. This will also work on other Mozilla based browsers such as Flock, SeaMonkey, Mozilla, etc.
   Supports Firefox 2.0+

   

3. Page2RSSPage2RSS is a service that helps you monitor web sites that do not publish feeds. It will check any web page for updates and deliver them to your favorite RSS reader.If there are no any feeds detected on the page you will see the Page2RSS icon the address bar. Clicking on the icon will open the popup with the subscription choices.
